Privacy Policy

Eldreki Fire Protection is operated by Efficient Build LLC.

We believe in collecting as little personal information as reasonably necessary. We do not create advertising profiles, sell personal information, or collect information simply because we can.

Information We Collect

When you browse eldreki.com, we do not require you to create an account or provide personal information.

We collect limited information when you choose to interact with us, including:

• your name and email address;
• the reason you selected and the message you wrote in our contact form;
• order and payment-reference information needed to provide and support a purchased service;
• communications related to support, refunds, rescheduling, or your consultation.

Basic technical information is also generated by our hosting and security infrastructure, such as IP address, browser information, request time, and requested page. We use this information only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand the performance of the website, including counting visits to its pages in total. We also use the IP address to work out an approximate location — country, state or province, and city, and whether a visit came from near an area we are following, such as a place recently affected by wildfire — so we can see where the people reading our guidance are. That lookup is done with a location database held on our own computer, so the address is not sent to any location service. The result is a count of visitors by place, never a record kept against a person, an order, or a message, and a city with only one or two visitors is not listed at all. These access logs are kept private and are deleted automatically after 30 days. We do not use them to identify you or combine them with other information.

What This Website Does Not Do

These are not commitments about our intentions; they are descriptions of how the site is built.

• It sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for sessions.
• It uses no analytics or measurement service. There is no tag manager and no tracking script on any page. Visits are counted only from the hosting access logs described above.
• Its fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page does not tell a font provider that you visited.
• It stores one thing in your browser: whether you chose the light or dark theme. That value never leaves your device and is never sent to us.
• It makes no third-party request until you ask it to. Video players load only when you press play; scheduling and social links are ordinary links you choose to follow.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Eldreki does not receive or store your full credit-card number or any other complete payment credential. Card details are entered on Stripe's own payment page and are processed by Stripe under its privacy and security practices.

We retain the information necessary to associate a payment with an Eldreki order and to provide customer support, refunds, and related services: an order reference, the service purchased, its status, the amount and currency, and the email address you gave Stripe.

Scheduling

Consultation scheduling is provided through Google Calendar Appointment Schedules, and consultations are held over Google Meet.

We link you to Google; we do not connect to it. Eldreki holds no Google account credentials, makes no request to a Google service on your behalf, and does not store your appointment. Information you provide to Google when you book is processed by Google under its own privacy policies.

Contact Form

If you contact us, we receive exactly what you chose to send: your name, your email address, the reason you selected from the list, and your message. We store it so that it cannot be lost, and we use it only to respond to your request, provide customer support, or consider questions and feedback sent to Eldreki.

Submitting a general wildfire or home-hardening question does not create a consulting relationship and does not guarantee an individual response. For advice about a specific property, please book a Fire Resilience Strategy Call.

The contact form is not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing an active wildfire or other emergency, follow instructions from local authorities and call 911 when appropriate.

Videos and Third-Party Services

Some pages offer videos hosted by YouTube. The YouTube player is not loaded when the page opens — you see a still image, and the player is only requested if you press play. When it does load, it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain.

Once you start a video, or follow a link to YouTube, Instagram, Google or any other site, that provider may collect information according to its own privacy practices. That is true of any link on the internet; it is mentioned here because those links are ours.

Cookies and Advertising

Eldreki sets no cookies on eldreki.com, and uses no advertising cookies or behavioral advertising.

We do not sell or rent personal information and do not use personal information for targeted advertising.

Third-party services that you choose to interact with, such as Stripe, Google, or YouTube, may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their respective policies.

How We Use Information

We use personal information only for purposes reasonably connected to operating Eldreki, including:

• processing and supporting orders;
• scheduling and providing consultations;
• processing refunds or rescheduling requests;
• responding to customer-support requests;
• maintaining the security and reliability of our services;
• complying with legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We do not use customer information to build advertising profiles.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining business and financial records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or tax obligations.

Information that is no longer reasonably needed may be deleted or anonymized. Website access logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate Eldreki: payment processing (Stripe), appointment scheduling and video meetings (Google), video hosting (YouTube), and cloud hosting and email delivery for this website and the service that supports it (Amazon Web Services).

These providers may process information on our behalf, or directly as part of the service they provide to you. If we add a provider that processes your information, we will update this page.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect customer information, and we design Eldreki around collecting as little as possible in the first place — the strongest protection for information is not holding it.

No Internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Information

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you. Please write to contact@eldreki.com from the address you used, or quote your order or message reference, so that we can find the right records.

Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

Children's Privacy

Eldreki services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Eldreki's services evolve. The effective date at the top of this page is updated when material changes are made.
